WHO WE ARE

Though Tjaden Electric started over 40 years ago with just one employee it now includes a comprehensive staff of qualified electricians and an administrative team capable of accomplishing a variety of complex projects big and small. Specializing in commercial, industrial and agricultural with years of experience and expertise in residential, technology services, design build and of course service and repair. Among the experienced team there are five employees with 20 or more years committed to the company as well as 10 employees with 10 or more years of experience. This gives our team a competitive advantage in value to customers and quality of outcome.

Cody and Cassie Harrison are the third generation to own and operate Tjaden Electric Company in Badger, Iowa. The company began in 1978 by its namesake, Jim Tjaden. Tjaden began primarily in industrial work and later added residential and commercial work growing and expanding the company. In 2000 Tjaden passed the torch to Shane Harrison who had worked for him for over 20 years, and known him for a lifetime. Shane spent 22 years building, continuing the growth of the company and in late 2022 the torch was once again passed to his son, Cody, and daughter-in-law, Cassie.

Proud to be family owned and proud of the team of long-time employees, Cody and Cassie look forward to growing and expanding at Tjaden Electric Company for the next generation.
